Why Splash Mountain was the Must-Ride Attraction at Walt Disney World
It may be gone but it will always be remembered
One of my favorite moments in Walt Disney World was walking into Frontierland and being in awe of the Splash Mountain ride sitting up at the top of the hill. For those that are not familiar with this ride it was a log flume ride that took guests on a journey through the world of Disney’s classic film “Song of the South.” The ride is full of music, humor, and storytelling that made it an immersive and memorable experience. And on the warm Florida days it was always a nice ride to get a quick splash to cool off.
If you were looking for an unforgettable adventure at Walt Disney World, you looked no further than Splash Mountain. From the moment you step into the rider queue, you are transported into the world of the 1946 Disney film “Song of the South.” The ride is full of music, humor, and storytelling that brings the characters from the film to life the way only Disney animatronics can. You experienced a variety of scenes and songs, including the classic tune “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” which was guaranteed to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
